This policy establishes the processes, procedures, and requirements for hosting events on property owned, operated, and/or controlled by Tulane University. As a private university, Tulane can and does impose conditions for the use of all university property. Permission to use a university facility does not imply university endorsement, sponsorship, or support of the views, opinions, programs, or activities of the users, speakers, presenters, or organizers. Tulane University is committed to principled institutional neutrality and content-neutral event approval.

To protect the individuals, property, and privacy of the Tulane University campus and community, the University limits access to facilities, buildings, and spaces. Campus Services will maintain appropriate procedures and controls and will work with other departments to ensure facilities maintain both accessibility and security.

Shuttles & Transportation provides transit services to the Tulane community. Fixed shuttle lines are operated to various destinations but mainly to/from the uptown and downtown campuses. The Rider Policies: Fixed Shuttle Lines is established to ensure only approved members of the Tulane community are allowed to board the shuttle lines.

Tulane University, in furtherance of its mission as an institution of higher education, provides a number of educational/instructional experiences and opportunities which involve group travel and/or require ground transportation services.
